WHAT MAKES OUR SKINCARE DIFFERENT

Facials aren’t just a luxury service meant only for spa days, special events, or reserved for the wealthy. Facials are an important component in maintaining skin health and vitality. Your skin is the largest organ of the body and is the 1st line of defense for our immune system. When we have healthy functioning skin with fully intact barrier function we can enter into the world feeling confident and beautiful. When we have a compromised barrier function our skin microbiome is stressed. This coupled with any sort of systemic internal inflammatory issues (like autoimmune disorders) and our skin is typically the first place we will tend to see these issues arise.

Our skin is the organ of absorption and excretion, it can sometimes be referred to as the 3rd kidney. Stress, food intolerances, hormonal imbalances, and chronic inflammation can be seen on the face. Since our skin is typically one of the first things people see about us, feeling confident and comfortable in your skin matters, that's why I only use products and equipment that I have thoroughly researched and used first hand on my own skin!

As someone that has suffered from poor skin quality the majority of my life, I tend to bring a lot of compassion and passion to my work. I have studied skin health from the inside out for almost 20 years and tend to take a holistic approach to skincare. Focusing not simply just on take-home products and crafting a good skincare routine, but also utilizing supplementation, detoxification, and nutrition as part of an integrated system of health… it kinda like having a personal trainer for your skin!
